Aier Learning (Enerelt Bat-Erdene, Madison Binyon, Stephen Haugland, Rudyjay Keopuhiwa, Levi Russell)

Aier Learning is an organization that brings educators together to facilitate conversations about innovation in education across the Northwest. This project aimed at redesigning Aier's website along with adding an educator directory and event forum. The goal of the project is to make Aier's website a place in which educators can easily get involved and share their ideas and thoughts about education.

Bookworm (Alyssa Fusato, Caleb Grode, Kostiantyn Makrasnov, Eli Min)

Learn to love reading with BookWorm. BookWorm is a reading platform for kids, parents, and educators that fosters natural reading ability in students and prioritizes accessibility for all.

COVID-ADAPT (David Martin, Ben Michael, Chris Roberts, Craig Russell)

Our project was to create a graphical user interface for a biostatistical model being developed by Dr. Kristian Magori, a professor at Eastern Washington University. His model, covid-adapt, simulates how virus particles will spread within a defined space and how the presence of people affects the results. The goal is to use the simulation to help define guidelines for reopening locations like college dormitories while not sacrificing safety. Our user interface creates an easy way to interact with the simulation by creating a simple way to change settings, start a simulation, and view the results in both graphical form as well as a video output of the entire simulation.

Team Hewitt Learning (Pragalva Dhungana, Pukar Mahat, Shane Snediker, Trevor Troxel, Ethan Wolcott)

Hewitt Learning has been using an outdated database system from the 1980s, accessible only by a virtual instance of Windows XP. The client needed to have their database converted from Paradox into a modern system hosted on Azure, have all of their printing scripts maintained in the new incarnation, and have a stable and user-friendly way to interact with their most frequented areas of the database.

World Relief (Josiah Gallegos, Brycen Martin, Aiden McIlraith, Kyle Shepard, Daniel Tucker)

Our software provides a robust solution to the problem of vetting the potential clients of our customers. The intake form provides a dynamic platform from which to share information between members of their team and can be modified freely to suit their needs. The software allows file uploads alongside the basic form software and automatically removes outdated information.

Maxey Center (Sebastian Cornejo, Travis Herrera, Jonathan Laughlin, Jacob Shea, Joseph Tingstad)

We're developing a dynamic, gamified learning experience for the Carl Maxey Center, a non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of those in the African American community. This website will allow students of all ages to learn about our nation's history through a non-Eurocentric lens ranging from the colonial era to present day. Our project makes learning black history intuitive and exciting.
